This process has the advantage of ease use, allowing the customer/user to peel the product directly from the base paper and apply it directly to the finished component.
The finished parts will be placed on the peelable base paper, such as release paper, PE film or HDPE release film.
Kiss cutting is a form of die cutting where
a very light impression cuts through the top layer, not through the backing
material. It is commonly used for stickers, adhesive labels and similar
applications and can be done on a variety of materials like adhesive-backed
foils, papers, vinyl and more. This type of die cutting process gets its name
from the knife or the steel rule die that cuts through the top material, but
only `kisses` the backing paper without cutting it.
Flying Man high speed precision die cutting
machines can kiss cut up to 0.025mm base material, this process is in the
leading position in the industry.
